Duina del Mar Joins the SXSW Bill

Duina del Mar, an Artist, Composer, Dancer and Multi-Instrumentalist. She has been selected as “The fresh new credible pop revelation for 2012” by Billboard Magazine, and she has already received numerous nominations for national and international awards for her work. Her live show is incredible and she has performed with artists such as Juanes, Alejandro Sanz and Fonseca with great success. The SXSW show will be an acoustic set showcasing Duina’s love for a variety of sounds and cultures. Her album “Natural” is coming out on Universal this summer.

She is a Universal Music / 21 Sunshine artist, also signed to BMI and Sony Music Publishing.

Duina will be perform at the 3rd edition of the Pan American Music Festival as part of the SXSW Music Festival on March 16 in Austin, Texas. One of the SXSW festival exclusive events, the Pan Americana Festival is a cultural festival where art reflects Latinos through flowery performances.

This year the Pan American SXSW Festival is presented by the Mexico-American Cultural Center Emma S. Barrientos (ESB-MACC) and Arts Alliance, which will take place in the ESB-MACC. Duina will share the stage with the likes of Kinky and Suns of Orpheus. Some of the songs will play include her current single, “Everything” and past successes “I am what I am” and “Move Tuti” from their debut album, Natural .

Duina was recently recently nominated for Best New Artist of the Year Prizes in Our Land 2013 event to be held on March 14 in Bogota, Colombia.
