Umed Amin Casted as Lead in Jessie Award winner “The Unplugging”

Umed Amin has been casted as the lead in the Jessie Award winner for outstanding original script “The Unplugging”.

Directed by Nina Lee Aquino, the story follows two aging Indigenous women as they are cast out of their community for being deemed unable to contribute to a post-apocalyptic society. They are forced to begin a new life, living off the land as their ancestors did before them. As the duo begin to settle into their new existence, they encounter a young man whose presence threatens their way of life.


Catch the show at the Factory Theatre in Toronto, Canada from March 14th – April 5th.



Fefe Dobson to Perform at WorldPride 2014 in Toronto

To celebrate WorldPride 2014, Fefe Dobson is set to perform at  MTV’s Pop Goes Pride on June 27th on the outdoor TD Wellesley stage. Carly Rae Jepsen and Dragonette are also slated to perform.

WorldPride will take place in downtown Toronto beginning June 20 with events that will take place all the way up until June 29. Yendi Phillipps Sold Out ‘In The Dance Fitness’ Class

Miss Jamaica Universe, Yendi Phillipps made her way up north to Toronto last month to release her brand new workout DVD In The Dance Fitness Jamaica.
